The nursing education program approval committee reviews educational programs and designates them an approved nursing program. Graduates from an approved program are eligible to apply to the CRNA for a nursing permit.
To maintain their permit, registrants are expected to know and follow the CRNA standards as well as a Code of Ethics and all legislation that applies to their practice. The CRNA provides information to help both registrants and the public understand nursing regulations.
